in July 2001
by Kathy Hamrick, hair design, hair extension and color specialist.
 It
is our mission to deliver superior hair care by utilizing the highest
quality products and most innovative techniques available. Through
our experience, ongoing education and effective communication the
customer will receive excellence in design, color and texture at an
affordable price in an elegant, relaxed atmosphere.

Certified Hairlocs Specialist
- Kathy has been in the industry for over 17 years with
an education background including teaching for Creative Hair
Dressers, the largest on the Eastern Seaboard as well as Wella
International which also included showwork, performing platform
artistry in many industry shows. Kathy also provided artistic
direction and was in charge of product development for the largest
day spa / salon on the East Coast. She has received and continues
advanced education in all aspects of color placement, chemical
treatment and hair design. |
 Benjamin
Appel - Hair Design and Make-up
Artistry
Benjamin received his license in Cosmetology through
a twenty-four month apprenticeship at a renowned salon in Ellicott
City, Maryland. Through this rigorous and exciting hands-on
experience, Ben developed a vast knowledge of haircoloring,
highlighting techniques, haircutting, styling, and make-up artistry.
He has also participated in a large number of bridal parties
and special events. A skilled artist who has tremendous enthusiasm
and an ability to envision the most up-to-date and individual
look for each of his clients, he looks forward to continuing
his education in make-up artistry and skincare, and will be
attending extensive color classes and hair shows. Ben is also
now certified to do NovaLash eyelash extensions. |

Artistry
True Colors Hair Salon welcomes Heather Davis to our
team. Heather has been in the hair industry for over 10 years.
Her expertise includes cutting, coloring & formal hair design
as well as men's barbering techniques. She continues her advanced
education for up-to-date color technique & skills. Heather
has assisted in various hair shows and has conducted courses
in coloring, cutting & barbering & has performed for
several bridal shows locally.
